Delete your Etchy account

Etchy is an app by Etchy for families to keep and print their children's drawings. You can delete your account, or your whole family's account, at any time.

In the app

Delete my account

Settings → Account. Removes your login. If you set up the family, the whole family is deleted with it, and the app tells you first.

Delete family account

Settings → Family (only the grown-up who set up the family sees this). Removes the family and everything in it, for everyone.

What is deleted

Your login and account
The family
Children's nicknames and age ranges
All drawings, scans, photos and print files
Invite codes

What we keep

A record of past orders (what was ordered and when), with your name, email and pictures removed. We keep it for 6 years because UK tax law requires it.
A record that a deletion happened, which holds no names or emails.

Without the app

Email privacy@etchy.app from the email address on your Etchy account, with the subject "Delete my account". Say whether you want to delete just your login or your whole family.

We'll check it's you, then delete within 30 days and email you when it's done.

Deleting can't be undone. Save any favourite drawings to your phone first.
